Southern California Edison Resilient Grid Exercise Series

On October 4th, multiple investor-owned utilities and public-sector agencies in the Southern California Region simulated their response to a 7.8M rupture on the South San Andreas Fault. Prestige Analytics, Inc. led the technical design and collaborative development efforts for several utility providers in Southern California, some of the highlights from the day included:

Participation from 4 emergency operations centers

1 utility staging area with mutual assistance resources from California, Arizona, and Oregon

Multiple coordination calls between utility partners, trade organizations and public-sector emergency response organizations

Integrated problem solving in response to regional impacts
